Investor Unity Pty Ltd was launched in late 2012 by Adam La Vars, following on from his career with some of the world's largest derivatives firms of their kind. He remains CEO and Chief Strategist while also occasionally indulging his own interest in education, to IU Members and others.

IU's original role was to act as an intermediary between the investment and trading community, including its own clients, and the industry itself; a self-appointed industry watchdog and reviewer, of sorts.

Having spent the first two years working with external investment managers and analysts, the decision was made to begin directly servicing clients, wherever possible - but particularly in the areas of managed trading services; complemented and enhanced by market analysis and education.

IU's main trading/investment strategy was derived from a long-time-successful personal approach to the markets. Strengthened through industry-insider experience, and with refined risk and money management principles, it was first made available to select clients in late 2015.

'Crossroads,' as the strategy came to be known, with its core principles in tact, has since evolved to cover major global and local markets, in the form of fully and semi-managed services and automated trading - along with recommendations/alerts, analysis and education.
